Welcome to All Star Baseball '99. This is probably the best baseball game you can get for N64, and definitely one of the best sports games for N64. This puts you right in the game. You pitch, hit, run, and field if you want.
That's one of the things that makes this game so powerful. It has the option of whether you want to control the fielders completely, a little, or not at all. With the voices of the New York Yankeese, John Sterling and Michael Kay, these two make the game all that more enjoyable. A new feature to the game is the ability to create characters. You, the player, have complete control over what he looks like, what he plays, and where his strong points are.
The only thing that is a downside to the game is that it seems that the game was in a little bit of a rush to be put out because a lot of the numbers, names, and stances seem a little off, but only the true baseball player and worshiper, such as myself, notices these things. If you are more into the Nintendo side of it, I guarantee you will fall in love with this game!
